Schedule and Application for Nurse Licensure Examination (NLE) 2014

Academic year has been ended. This is the time for taking examination to be a registered professional for those courses requiring examination for registration. For nurses, here are the schedule of application and examination for the Nurse Licensure Examination.


The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) has announced the schedule of the Nursing Licensure Examination (NLE) scheduled for 2014. There will be two instances of the examination scheduled on May 25 and 26, 2014 and November 29 and 30, 2014. The examination is set to be given on the following cities: Manila, All Regional Offices, Zamboanga, Angeles, Cabanatuan, Dagupan, Laoag & Bacolod.

There are two schedule for Nurse Licensure Examination, here are the schedules: 


May 2014
Dates of Examination: May 25 and 26, 2014 (Sun, Mon)
Deadline of Filing:
  • For the re-takers or repeaters of NLE you are scheduled to file until March 28, 2014 while the first-timers or fresh graduates are until on April 11, 2014.


November 2014
Dates of Examination: November 29 and 30, 2014 (Sat, Sun)
Deadline of Filing:

  • Repeaters and re-takers are scheduled until October 3, 2014  and for the fresh graduates willing to take the NLE you are required to file an application on until October 17, 2014.


Documentary Requirements
  • Notice of Admission and Nurse Application Form to take the board examination.
  • OR-DR Cases, duly notarized (for 1st timer only)
  • Original and photocopies of Transcript of Records with Special Order and Date of Graduation, with scanned pictures and with remarks “FOR BOARD EXAMINATION PURPOSES ONLY”. Graduates of government schools and institutions/programs accredited by recognized accredited agencies under the FAAP are exempted from SO. Graduates of New Schools/Degree Programs must submit School Recognition and/or Permit to Operate.
  • Original and photocopy of NSO-issued Birth Certificate (if NSO copy is not clear, bring copy from the Local Civil Registrar)
  • For married females, original and photocopies of NSO-issued Marriage Contract (if NSO copy is not clear, bring copy from Local Civil Registrar)
  • Two (2) passport-size colored pictures with white background and complete name tag
  • Current Community Tax Certificate (Cedula)
  • Other specific requirements as required by the Commission or the Professional Regulatory Board.
