Course Schedules: FOUNDATION COURSE ON REPRODUCTIVE HEALTH NURSING PRACTICE IN THE PHILIPPINES
The Society's FOUNDATION COURSE ON REPRODUCTIVE HEALTH NURSING PRACTICE IN THE PHILIPPINES (Course Code: RHN1) is a 4-hour introductory course on human sexuality, sexual and reproductive health, the RH Law, and the role of nurses in sexual & reproductive health. RHN1 is a qualifying course for all interested nurses to become Level I members of the Society. All members of the Society are expected to graduate from this introductory course.
The RHN1 Course has the following components:
A. Introduction to Sexuality & Reproductive Health (1.5 hours)
B. The Reproductive Health Law (1 hour)
C. Role of nurses in SRHR and SRH Nursing (1 hour)
D. Processing and Q & A (0.5 hours)

We have received numerous inquiries on organizing a RHN1 Course in their areas. Here is the process:
- Form a core group in your area of around five (5);
- Select a team leader/focal person that will coordinate with the National Office;
- Write a letter of intent to conduct a RHN1 Course to PSORHN National Office addressed to:
- Jose Andrelin dela Cruz, SRHN, FPSORH
- Foundation Course RHN National Coordinator
- Philippine Society of Sexual & Reproductive Health Nurses
- Unit 401, 1252B F.Torres cor. G.del Pilar Sts., San Andres Bukid, Malate, Manila
- Send letters to: psorhn@gmail.com and nurseandreidelacruz@gmail.com
- Subject: RHN1 Foundation Course
- Identify a venue to conduct the RHN Foundation Course;
- For provincial sessions, a minimum of 100 pax is required; for NCR sessions, a minimum of 50 pax is required.
- BORHN Rates:
- Provincial - P400.00 per pax
- NCR - P600.00 per pax
- The local organizing committee shall coordinate with the National Office to prepare the following:
- Receive letter template to institutions inviting for the RHN Course
- Continuously communicate with the National Coordinator
- Assess venue for the provincial session
- Prepare session kits and meals for participants
