Bloggers' Night Tagged: Gathering of Online Influencers

Bloggers’ Night: Get tagged and socialize

Nowadays, social media have a big impact and one of the powerful influences for all people in different ages around the world. This flat-form is now being used to advertise, educate, journalism, and giving updates on what happening across the globe.  Friendly Alliances and Media Expressions (FAME), Inc. hosted the event for us bloggers last March 19, 2014 at the Megaworld Showroom, Mc Kinley Hills, Taguig City featuring different FAME brands and other corporate partners and supporters.

FAME’s Bloggers’ Night Tagged on the second time was attended by different bloggers on their field of expertise including health, fashion, entertainment, lifestyle, and photography, and media partners.

As they say, “Bloggers are the online influencers that drive today’s digital world.” Most of the time, customers base their purchasing decisions from a review written by a blogger in the internet. So bloggers who cover the latest news on a certain product, service, brands, are more than just bloggers; they are influential, digital online specialists.

Publisher and Editor-in-Chief, Dr. Rafael R. Castillo at the helm, FAME gave its doctor-readers Health and Lifestyle magazine, serving as the quintessential guide for the modern-day doctor. FAME also, launched DiabetEASE to give advice to patients and families suffering from diabetes. From featuring health related activities and articles, FAME launched Travel Plus to promote the local and international tourism and on the same year, FAME also launched its Zen Health to empower the modern-day woman.

Vital Signs, one of FAME’s latest publications in an eight-page newsletter format, is seen to become the leader in medical news as it synthesizes the most recent scientific and healthcare news taken from notable sources in the field of healthcare, medicine, public health administration read by doctors, healthcare professionals, and even legislators. Wherein the President of Philippine Society of Sexual & Reproductive Health Nurses (PSORHN), Alvin Cloyd Dakis, a registered nurse and a resident columnist have its own column named “Nurses Notes”. He tackles health in general and issues affecting the nursing profession.

One of the booths inside is the Trianon Food Supplements and Diagnostics wherein they feature the CANAMED Dengue IgG/IgM antibody test kit. A new technology and way to diagnose dengue fever in just 15 minutes. Diagnosis in early stage of Dengue fever is very important for them to give the right treatment and management.

On the other side, a new dengue vaccine to offer 5-year immunity now on its final testing, this vaccine is being developed to help and to protect against the four strains of dengue virus. The vaccine was being developed by a French pharmaceutical company Sanofi Pasteur Inc. There were 3, 000 participants listed from Manila, San Pablo, Laguna and Cebu ages 2 to 45, half of them were given three doses of vaccine.

Moreover, the said event was indeed exciting because of their giveaways and raffle prizes courtesy of their sponsors and partners. Nurse Tambay, a member of Philippine Health Bloggers Society (PHBS) is lucky to receive the Zenutrients products from their raffle draws.
